PITSTOP PROGRAM

Mr Beaton is taking ten of our senior students to the Pitstop Program on Tuesday mornings. This is a great program which students have thoroughly enjoyed in the past. They do lots of hands on learning working on cars, bikes and scooters, using tools and creating jewellery and art from scrap wood and metals. 

FAMILY NIGHT

Our annual Family Night will be held on Wednesday 21^st February from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Classrooms will be open from 3.30pm to 4.30pm so please take this opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and see the great work students are doing in class. A free BBQ will be provided and there will be jumping castles and air brush tattoos. Drinks will be available for $1 and snow cones for 50 cents. We hope to see everyone there.

MOOROOPNA POOL DAYS

All students will be going to the Mooroopna Pool on Friday 23^rd February and Friday 8^th March. Buses will leave school at 10.50am and return at approximately 1.30pm. Students need to wear their school uniform and bring their lunch, drink bottle, bathers, towel, t-shirt or rashie for swimming, bag for wet clothing, hat and sunscreen. Goggles are recommended.  Please make sure all items of clothing are labelled with your child’s name.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY

Monday 11^th March is a public holiday. There is no school on this day.

FUN RUN

All students will be participating in our annual Fun Run on Friday 15^th March. Students will run from Chinaman’s Gardens in Mooroopna to Kidstown. Students will then have a BBQ lunch and a play before returning to school. Students need to wear their school uniform and comfortable running shoes. Students need to bring their drink bottle, hat and sunscreen.

SWIMMING LESSONS

All students will participate in swimming lessons at Aquamoves in Shepparton from Monday 18^th March to Friday 22^nd March. Students will have a 45 minute lesson each day for the week. Students need to wear their school uniform and bring their bathers, towel, goggles and a bag for wet clothing. Please make sure all items are labelled including their school uniform.

ATHLETICS DAY

Our annual Athletics day will be held on Monday 25^th March. All students will be participating. Buses will leave school at 9am so please make sure students are at school on time. Students need to wear their school uniform and comfortable running shoes and bring their lunch, drink bottle, hat and sunscreen. It is usually cold n the morning at the athletics track so please ensure students bring their school jacket.

END TERM ONE

Term one finishes on Thursday 28^th March. Students will be dismissed at 2pm. We will have our Easter Bonnet Parade at 9am. Students are invited to make an Easter Bonnet at home to wear for the parade. Prizes will be awarded for the best  bonnet in each class. We will also draw our Easter Raffle. We are asking for donations of Easter Eggs for the raffle. Please drop all donations off at the office. Families are welcome to come and watch the parade.
