Mooroopna Park Primary School is located in spacious, shady grounds with plenty of space for students to play.

Our grounds boast a basketball court, a fenced court for ball games, an oval, table tennis tables, four playgrounds with shade sails and our undercover hayshed. We have recently installed synthetic turf on our basketball court and under our hayshed. A new scooter and running track around our grounds has proven very popular with our students and our school scooters provide lots of exercise. We have lots of new projects on the go such as a shaded outdoor learning space and sensory playground.

Our main building hosts our office spaces, staffroom, sick bay, newly renovated library, art room, canteen and hall. All students have weekly art lessons and visit our library. Our hall provides a sheltered space for PE on very hot or wet days, as well as being used for assemblies and special events such as Mother’s and Father’s day breakfasts and graduation.

Our Foundation and grade one students are in our BER building which has large classrooms and an open plan middle area shared for our Investigations program. The third classroom in this building is currently used for tutoring and small group sessions with speech therapists. Our Play Therapists room is also located in this building.

Our grade 2/3 classes are in separate classrooms, the most recent of these built in 2019.

Our senior students are in another building which also has a newly fitted out sensory room which is used by our Chaplain for one on one counselling and small group intervention.
