Mooroopna Park Primary School is located in spacious, shady grounds with plenty of space for students to play.

Our grounds boast a basketball court, a fenced court for ball games, an oval, table tennis tables, Ninja course, Gaga Ball pit, four playgrounds with shade sails and our undercover hayshed. We have synthetic turf on our basketball court and under our hayshed. A scooter and running track around our grounds has proven very popular with our students and our school scooters provide lots of exercise. We have lots of new projects on the go such as a new sand pit and upgrades to our Prep playground area as well as a greenhouse to complement our vegetable garden.

Our main building hosts our office spaces, staffroom, sick bay, library, art room, canteen and hall. All students have weekly art, PE, Wellbeing and science lessons and visit our library to borrow books. Our hall provides a sheltered space for PE on very hot or wet days, as well as being used for assemblies and special events such as Mother’s and Father’s day breakfasts.

Our Foundation and grade one students are in our BER building which has large classrooms and an open plan middle area shared for our Investigations program. The third classroom in this building is currently used for tutoring and small group sessions with speech therapists as well as being home to our Community Hub from Wednesday to Friday. Our Play Therapists room is also located in this building.

We have two stand alone classrooms which are currently occupied by our 1/2 and 2/3 classes.

A further building has four classrooms currently occupied by two 5/6 classes and two 3/4 classes.

All classrooms have heating and airconditioning.
