Intervention

Intervention is provided in both Literacy and Numeracy for students who require additional support.

Our intervention staff are trained in the highly effective, evidence-based program MacqLit, which provides targeted literacy support in small groups each morning.

Staff are also trained in the GRIN program, developed by Monash University, which offers additional support for students in Numeracy. Like MacqLit, GRIN sessions take place in small groups.

In addition to Literacy and Numeracy intervention, Mooroopna Park Primary School is proud to offer further support in wellbeing. These small groups help students develop positive friendships, build resilience, and strengthen their social skills.
